What We Teach

Programs built for real
Kenyan classrooms

Three flagship programmes, each designed to move teachers from passive delivery to active, project-led facilitation.

01

STEM & Robotics

We believe every student deserves to build something that moves, blinks, or responds. Our robotics programme introduces teachers to Arduino, basic electronics, and hands-on engineering challenges — all mapped to CBC/CBE learning outcomes.

Teachers leave equipped to run their own robotics sessions — guiding students to wire circuits, write simple code, and assemble working robots from kits and repurposed materials.

Introduction to Arduino and basic electronics
Build and programme a working robot vehicle
Integrate robotics into CBC/CBE STEM lessons
Facilitate student-led robotics challenges

Agriculture STEM
02

Agriculture STEM

Kenya's future depends on a generation that understands both science and the soil. Our Agriculture STEM programme weaves technology into farming — from soil sensors to data-driven irrigation — making STEM relevant, local, and powerful.

Teachers learn to design projects around real agricultural challenges, connecting chemistry, biology, and technology to the world students already know and care about.

STEM applications in modern Kenyan agriculture
Sensor-based soil and environment monitoring
Design thinking for agricultural challenges
Cross-curricular CBC/CBE integration strategies

Project-Based Learning
03

Project-Based Learning

PBL isn't just a teaching method — it's the beating heart of everything we do at Olive Groove. We train teachers to design and facilitate projects that challenge students to think critically, collaborate, and create real-world solutions.

This programme addresses the heart of CBC/CBE's vision: moving from content delivery to competency development. Teachers leave with a full PBL design toolkit and the confidence to use it.

Design compelling, curriculum-aligned projects
Facilitate student inquiry without lecturing
Assess competencies through project work
Adapt PBL to your school's context and resources
