Programs built for real
Kenyan classrooms
Three flagship programmes, each designed to move teachers from passive delivery to active, project-led facilitation.
STEM & Robotics
We believe every student deserves to build something that moves, blinks, or responds. Our robotics programme introduces teachers to Arduino, basic electronics, and hands-on engineering challenges — all mapped to CBC/CBE learning outcomes.
Teachers leave equipped to run their own robotics sessions — guiding students to wire circuits, write simple code, and assemble working robots from kits and repurposed materials.
Agriculture STEM
Kenya's future depends on a generation that understands both science and the soil. Our Agriculture STEM programme weaves technology into farming — from soil sensors to data-driven irrigation — making STEM relevant, local, and powerful.
Teachers learn to design projects around real agricultural challenges, connecting chemistry, biology, and technology to the world students already know and care about.
Project-Based Learning
PBL isn't just a teaching method — it's the beating heart of everything we do at Olive Groove. We train teachers to design and facilitate projects that challenge students to think critically, collaborate, and create real-world solutions.
This programme addresses the heart of CBC/CBE's vision: moving from content delivery to competency development. Teachers leave with a full PBL design toolkit and the confidence to use it.
What participants work with
Full Arduino Uno kits with sensors, LEDs, motors, and breadboards for hands-on circuit building.
Laser-cut chassis robot car kits that participants assemble and programme from scratch.
Virtual reality demonstration tools to show immersive learning possibilities in Kenyan classrooms.
Soil moisture, temperature, and environmental sensors for agriculture STEM project work.
Output components for student projects — displaying data, outputs, and interactive results.
Craft sticks, cardboard, repurposed materials — because great STEM doesn't require expensive inputs.
Full presentation and programming setup for facilitated sessions at your school or our hub.
Project design canvases, rubrics, and facilitation guides for teachers to take and use immediately.
